Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has become a leading manufacturer of
the smartphone in a short span of time. As per the rumors, this company
is working on its new flagship OnePlus 5. This new smartphone is the
successor of OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 smartphones.
As per the reports, the company will skip the OnePlus 4 naming convention. After OnePlus 3 company will directly release OnePlus 5. The numeric 4 is the unlucky number in China. Before this, Samsung has taken the same step. It had launched Galaxy Note 7 after the Galaxy Note 5.

Further leaks reveal that this device may come with dual speakers as well as a ridged button. A notification light will come near the top speaker as per leaked images.
Render show off the OnePlus 5 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat straight out of the box. This device will use Oxygen OS and 6GB or 8GB RAM.
On the processor front, The OnePlus will use octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with an Adreno 540 GPU.
Reportedly the OnePlus 5 will come with multiple colors in the market. It’s Candy Red version looks quite good. Render show off three colors for the OnePlus 5 which include Pearl White and Midnight Black. There is no hint for Soft Gold or Gunmetal hues, used in its previous devices.
If we believe on leaked specification, then this device will give a tough competition to Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8.
