YouTube TV: Live TV Streaming Service Unveiled by YouTube



YouTube has finally come into the entertainment industry after a long wait. YouTube launched its live TV streaming services as the YouTube TV. It all occurred at the Playa Vista office of the company. A crowd of around 100 journalists was present during the official launch of the YouTube TV.

The new service by YouTube will know as the YouTube TV is different from the YouTube Red. This was operational at Google’s internet video system for years. The new service by YouTube has been setting contracts with several media companies as well. This is aimed the distribution of the content to the TV service by YouTube.

Bloomberg News and The WSJ have previously reported that several leaks have already been made to be offered by the YouTube TV services. As per Bloomberg, the video site YouTube was talking with all the major networks to publish their content. CBS is the first-ever major TV network to sign up the services. Even other leading studios have joined the discussions. These studios include Disney, Comcast’s NBCUniversal, and 21st Century Fox. These studios own ESPN, ABC and even others.

YouTube has confirmed that how the channels will be priced and set up. The YouTube TV service by YouTube is available at a low cost. There is a provision for a family of 6 accounts that is available for a small amount of $35 per month. In addition to this, there is no requirement of the long-term contract. Earlier, The WSJ (Wall Street Journal) had announced the pricing of the services to be between $25 and $40 per month.

he official launch of the YouTube TV will be in the specific markets. These markets will be the locations where it can offer full live broadcast feeds including New York, L.A., and Philadelphia. In addition to this, the services included in the package are FX, CW, USA, FXX, FreeForm, Syfy, MSNBC, Fox News, CNBC, Disney, Fox Business, Disney Jr, E!, Nat Geo, Sprout and various others. Moreover, ShowTime is available for an extra fee with the YouTube TV services.

In addition, the YouTube TV services also include the original series of YouTube Red’s 28. This would make the overall services much better. For those who are looking for more content, they can take advantage of this service. YouTube TV will be available to the customers of the US on the web, iOS and Android devices in the coming months.
