Samsung May Start Taking Pre-Orders of Galaxy S8 from April 10th

Samsung has skipped the MWC event this year to unveil the most anticipated Galaxy S8 duo. However, they have planned for something big definitely. An unpacked event is scheduled to be held on March 29^th in New York and London. And the company will announce their Galaxy S8 and S8+ in that event. Numerous rumors already surfaced regarding the features and specs of this device previously. It was reported earlier that the device is expected to go on sale on April 29^th. But nothing about the pre-order date was been confirmed. However, a new report suggests that the pre-order for Galaxy S8 will open on April 10^th.

Samsung has planned to sell around 12 million sets within the first 40 days of launch. And this is the main reason the pre-order will be started soon.

Vodafone to announce 28GB Data and Unlimited Calling At Rs 346

Vodafone is all set to jump into the competition with Reliance Jio. It is just last month when the Rs. 303 plan was unveiled for the Reliance Jio Prime members. And now the same plan is being declared by major telecom Vodafone as well. This plan is known as Vodafone’s ‘Welcome back offers’. It contains two plans, Rs. 342 and Rs. 346 plan. • The offer contains two plans, Rs. 342 and Rs. 346.
• 342 plan offers unlimited calling and 28 GB data/month. The other plan Rs. 346 offers unlimited calling, 10 GB data and 300 minutes voice calling per day. However, standard rates will be applicable post the limit for voice calling.
• The offer is valid till 15^th And customers who will recharge before this date will be entitled to additional 28 days of same benefits at free of cost.
• This plan will be available to the prepaid customers only.
• Customers can continue with the same plan for another 11 months if they recharge it now.

So, the plan looks really lucrative. This plan is same as Reliance’s JioPrime offer available at Rs. 303. This one too offers the same benefits, unlimited call, SMS and 28GB data/month. MWC 2017: Oppo unveiled 5x Dual Camera Zoom System

The Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo has officially unveiled 5x dual zoom system for the smartphone at MWC on Monday. However, Oppo has not announced any smartphone in this event. MWC 2017: Lenovo Yoga 520, Yoga 720 Laptops Launched

Lenovo has launched the new Yoga 520 and Yoga 720 laptops at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 in Barcelona. Xiaomi’s First Pinecone CPU, the Surging S1 Announced

Unlike the expected name Pinecone processor, Xiaomi has decided to call the chip Xiaomi Surge S1. The chipset will be used to power the Mi 5c smartphone.

Besides their announcement of Surge S1 chipset, they also announced the Xiaomi Mi 5C smartphone. Mi 5C smartphone has been powered by their in-house chip Surge S1.

Chief Executive of Xiaomi, Lei Jun said that by creating the chipset Xiaomi has achieved a point of zenith. This move is a major step ahead in the development of their company. To deliver their undertaking to make innovation available for all, they would have to master the staple expertise of their trade and closely assimilate the development of their hardware with their software. This will enable them to manufacture better smartphones which will unswervingly amaze the industry and enhance customer delight, he added.

Pinecone is a fully-owned subsidiary of Xiaomi that was set up on October 16, 2014. Pinecone was set up for research and development to design and develop chipset.

Surge S1 Features

The chipset has an octa-core processor with four high-performances ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and 4 power-efficient ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz, arranged using big. LITTLE structure so the eight cores can be actually used.

The Mi 5C that has been armed with the Surge 1 chipset has a 5.15-inch display. The smartphone will function with Android 7.1 Nougat and MIUI. There is a 12-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8megapixel front camera. There is a 3GB RAM with an internal storage capacity of 64GB.

The tariff plan priced at 149 INR per month aims to gain back the customers that were long gone to Reliance Jio. The new pack of Airtel offers unlimited voice calls using the medium of the Internet. In the competitive race, Airtel is leaving no stone unturned to counter the tsunami of the services offered by Jio.

The best feature about Reliance Jio and its exclusive range of services is that all of these were available for free completely for several months. In addition to these services, Reliance Jio aims to launch its Jio Prime Subscription Plan. Under this plan, the telecom giant owned by Mukesh Ambani aims to deliver exceptional services to its users. All the services would be charged minimal rates under this plan after 31^st March 2017.
