Samsung May Start Taking Pre-Orders of Galaxy S8 from April 10th


Samsung has skipped the MWC event this year to unveil the most anticipated Galaxy S8 duo. However, they have planned for something big definitely. An unpacked event is scheduled to be held on March 29th in New York and London. And the company will announce their Galaxy S8 and S8+ in that event. Numerous rumors already surfaced regarding the features and specs of this device previously. It was reported earlier that the device is expected to go on sale on April 29th. But nothing about the pre-order date was been confirmed. However, a new report suggests that the pre-order for Galaxy S8 will open on April 10th.

So, users need to wait just for two weeks after the device’s announcement. Users are eagerly waiting for the device, so let’s see if it can meet the expectation. Samsung has planned to sell around 12 million sets within the first 40 days of launch. And this is the main reason the pre-order will be started soon.

Samsung has delayed the introduction of their Galaxy S8 mainly because of the Snapdragon 835 chipset. However, some other rumors suggest that it was just to prevent the repeat of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Fiasco.

As per leaks, the most awaited device will come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. However, another variant will also be available powered with the Exynos 8895 chip. Along with this, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, and MicroSD slot will be available in the Galaxy S8 devices.

Galaxy S8 will accompany a 5.8 inch Super AMOLED display while the bigger version will have a 6.2-inch screen. In the camera part, both the devices will feature the 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. 3250 mAH battery will back the smaller version, and the bigger version will have 3750 mAH battery. Both will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
